Ginko is a son of Vagabond de la Pomme and Chanel du Rouet by Ogano Sitte.
Chanel’s genetics meant she was dedicated to breeding from an early age.
His 2nd dam El Ira du Rouet, uterine sister to Baloubet du Rouet, has produced 9 horses in CSI 1.45m and over, including Unesco du Rouet (JEM Tryon with Luis Sabino Goncalves) Ircos du Rouet (CSI 1.60m), Usador du Rouet (CSI 1.60m).
Performances
In 2019 he was 5th in the SF stallions qualifier at 3 at St Lô, and was labelled as Espoir stallion at the French Championships.
In 2020 he was Vice Champion at the French Elite Championships for 4-year-old males and geldings in Fontainebleau, labelled Elite
In 2021, 13 Clear rounds out of 15 rounds in 5-year-olds, including a double clear round at the French Championships final, labelled Excellent
Champion of the Stallions Masters in St Lo
He joined Charlotte and Mark McAuley’s stables at 7 and produced numerous clear rounds in CSI YH and 2* 1.35m/1.40m.
